Day 2: Full day in the reserve with game drives at 0630hrs and 1600 hrs respectively. Samburu is famous for its rare mammals that only survive north of the equator. These are the gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Beira oryx and grevy’s zebra. Dinner and overnight at the Samburu Lodge. All meals and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 3: Depart after breakfast and drive southwards with a brief stop at the stunning Thompson’s falls. Proceed towards the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving at Lake Nakuru Lodge / Similar in time for lunch. Thereafter, enjoy an afternoon game drive in park that also takes you to the shores of the lake famous for its birdlife especially flamingos that form a pink hue across the lake. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 4: Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley to the world famous game reserve, the Masai Mara arriving at Keekorok Lodge / Similar in time for lunch. At 1600 hrs enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Full day in the reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives at 0630hrs and 1600 hrs respectively. Considered by many to be Kenya’s finest game reserve, the 650sq miles of the Masai Mara adjoin Tanzania’s well-known Serengeti, forming one ecosystem. The open rolling savannah grassland of the Mara is the home of numerous wildlife species including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topi, impala, gazelle, warthog and zebra. From June to September, the annual Wildebeest migration takes place when thousands of these animals sweep across the plain and seek out new grazing areas. All meals and overnight at Keekorok Lodge / Similar.
Day 6: Depart the Mara after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving early afternoon. Lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant or Haveli Oriental restaurant and thereafter, drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for flight KQ310 departing to Dubai at 1920 hrs.
